Plates are normal... just "cleaned up" on the photo .

Agree. Oxide Grey (and general all BMW cars) looks better in person than in pictures. It does have this wow effect when you see it, while in pictures it's almost like any other shades of silver.

Not an i5, but a 550e touring. Think one of the first in The Netherlands!
Recieved the car yesterday, not had the time for a long drive but i'm happy for now!
Real electric range for now seems to be around 70-75km (~45 miles) but it was around 0°C (35°F) this morning.

Mooie wagen! Especially for NL. Very nice color too, is that Tanzanite? Wish we could get the “regular” touring in US.

Nice wheels. I like the blacked out look on wheels. I also like how the fender badges really stand out against the dark blue body.

Cars are very expensive due to all kind of CO2 based taxes. These hybrids are fairly “cheap” compared tot the old 540i which was around €20.000 more expensive compared to a similar 550e.

So far so good, getting used to the hybrid drivetrain. Coming from EV, shifts on electric mode is a bit weird. But smiling everytime both engines are on!
My range here in NL the last days about 68 km on electric. What I do find strange is how many battery is used when using the climate function before you leave. 10/15 km range of battery is used.

If you're at home, consider leaving it plugged in all the time so that when you precondition the cabin, the battery stays topped up.
