From time to time, it's especially good to be Jeff Bezos.

The Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN)CEO made another massive paper gain on Thursday after the company crushed earnings expectations .

With the stock up 10.5 percent in after-hours trading, or $58.97 per share, Bezos' 82.9 million shares showed a gain of about $4.89 billion.

It's not the first time Bezos made a mint on earnings either — in July he posted a paper gain of $8 billion after-hours on another strong report.

But Bezos wasn't alone in having a lucrative night.

Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) beat estimates and announced a significant share buyback , sending the stock 9 percent higher in evening trading.

That was enough to make co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin $1.46 billion and $1.41 billion, respectively.

They also racked up billions in gains after July's earnings report, just as Bezos did.

Still not at the bottom. Likely longer to correct issues on the earlier models. Fix (as yet to be finalized) requires a hardware install....

IMO - would not buy yet.

I've been riding airlines since around February. The low oil prices have been great and earnings season has been like Xmas so far. I will likely start to trim down and move into another section before the end of the month. Any suggestions? Oil price is exactly where I predicted to go, but what I donot know is the how low.
My guess is as low as 38-42. Got rid of DWTI when oil (wti) was 45. Right now oil is 43,80, and not gonna go long nor short until oil hits 38-42.

MrPrena After Friday's run- I sold everything today...got out of GOOG too early at 708, but not too shabby. I had to get completely out of Apple when it broke even from my last buy price...we'll see how bad it gets hammered tonight...

Good move. I am 100% cash.
Some energy economist or whatever analyst say that I should stick to my conviction and still short oil. I told em I am not going to be LONG nor SHORT between 43-45.

IF horrible Black Friday retail data, it might sink.

If you are fully convinced to buy those stocks (especially GPRO AMZN , AAPL), I would get rid of it few days before Black friday to be safer?
