Lol. Bhai, I'm married to my work and money :b. Not actually married...I've got a lot of time before that.

I have a friend, whom is a girl, whom I am very close with.
Haha ahh, got it

So the way into your heart is to NOT be a BMW driving d-bag or a McDonalds spokesman?
No I didn't say that. I'm a partial BMW douchebag myself and McDonald's is my favorite restaurant, for real!

What makes a nice smile, in your opinion?

Is t case-by-case?
I like to see teeth and it helps if the teeth aren't yellow and all crooked but they don't have to be perfect. I just like it when people aren't afraid to smile really big. Some of my family used to tell me my big smile was cheesy but it's actually something I get complimented on the most.
Interesting...so bimmette, when you first look at a pic of a guy, I'm assuming you notice smile. What else? Eyebrows? What are the first few things that drives your attention and interest?
Hmm if it's just a headshot, I guess I would notice hair after his smile.
Gotta provide more substance than that lol

I'm asking for bimmette's thorough analysis here

You must be an exception then haha

I know like 80% of all girls do care very much about looks, I just can't figure out what things first

I guess you are also a lot more mature than most women, so that has to be factored in

Wow! The McDonalds just through me off lol. You're literally the first female that admits to like the place. Rad, yo.

So are you a Shake and Fries kinda girl, or a Big Mac and Coke?

Always a filet and cheeseburger. If I'm having a bad day or celebrating, then I add a mango smoothie, fries and blueberry or apple pie too. Usually two pies actually

The whole "judging off looks" behavior is pretty common in this current generation. It's everywhere really.

Just take modern day marketing vs. the stuff they used 10-15 years back or so. Modern marketing is more visual than auditory. Kids like seeing cool, sexy shit. They really don't care what it is or wether it's worth it. If it looks cool/sexy, they'll more than often be attracted towards it. Even though the thing might be crap

Perfect example is the Benz CLA and its marketing campaign.

Have you tried Burger King's Cheeto things?

Tried them last week...overrated. Paid about $0.80 for each Cheeto...what a rip off

The fact that you eat all that and still are able to maintain your figure is mighty impressive. You go girl!

Very good point. It's because everything today is virtual. We stare at our phones all day, or Netflix on the home computer, or spreadsheets on the work computer (where we procrastinate and hop on social media...). You're absolutely right, looks are everything nowadays.

Never heard of them. Maybe we don't get that in Canada. I only go to Burger King when I'm desperate and they have cheap onion rings.

Probably better off anyway, two boxes of those suckers and your chest feels like it's about to explode from the blood sugar spike

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for technology and shit...but currently it's more of a productivity killer than increaser.

You're in school. How many kids bring laptops to class? Now how many have Facebook/Twitch/YouTube/Videogame on said screen?

This "taking things off looks" trend is really dangerous cuz kids can't develop on the analytical thinking skills needed for moving ahead in life. It sucks, but it's the sad reality these days.

While we're on the subject of fast food, Canadian Taco Bell blows (sorry bimmette ).

We do have awesome Indian fast food here. I love my butter chicken and naan.

Yeah we don't have good Mexican food here since we don't have many Mexicans in Vancouver.

That's actually an interesting topic.

So I would guess about 95% of students in my class brought laptops to class. About 90% of those students surfed the Internet for something not related to class on at least one occasion, based on my recognition.

I, though, did not bring my laptop to class even once during the first semester. Didn't even use it at home. Only time I ever used it was in the mornings while making breakfast to watch some political debates. I hand wrote everything; class notes, reading notes, outlines, etc. Worked very well for me, not only for staying focused during class, but also for amount of knowledge retained from handwriting.

Now, I will say this: if I would have brought my laptop to class every single day, and EVERY SINGLE DAY, without delay, turned the WiFi off and had only a word document open for taking class notes while taking reading notes by hand...I would have performed better than I did (I did perform quite well, regardless). Some days, I felt too tired and drained to take class notes, other days I was too slow and missed information...some of my notes were too scrambled to comprehend. These issues could have been mitigated with typing, which allows for easy structural edits, efficiency, etc.

Definitely pros to technology, but the cons are vastly overwhelming nowadays, with incredible marketing strategies in every corner of the Internet.

There aren't really any major Indian fast food brands in the US, unfortunately. Most local joints with multiple locations. My favorite Rajbhog. They've got a couple locations on the east and west coast.

Those are roughly the same numbers I keep running across.

Some say having a device helps take more quality notes. I could see that. Generally faster to type this write...however, a lecture is meant to be listened too and noted...not transcribed word for word. Yes, that requires mental concentration and will, something a lot of kids lack these days.

I never take digital notes. Writing things down helps me remember. I even hand write emails/pitches/love-letters ( :b ) before I type them.

Might just be my way of doing things. I brought a briefcase to school while everyone wore backpacks. I also would be mistaken for the professor. Lol

But yes, the cons are overwhelming and I feel not enough is being done to control the effects of these cons. We're a bit too nice with people who take advantage of tech, imo.
