Hey, so I made a chat room on IRC for those of you familiar with it, and posted in the OT section, but not much traffic there. Was wondering if you guys think this is a good idea - creating a chat room for people to hang out in, talk.

if you have mirc, get on irc.deltaanime.net and join #bimmerpost

instructions:

download mirc from www.mirc.com

type in the main window /server irc.deltaanime.net

then once you're in the server and logged in, just type /j bimmerpost

and you're done! We can chat without spamming!

OR the SUPER EASY WAY

p.s. I think this is related, because instead of creating threads that have been reposted a million times, someone can just go into the chat room ask a few questions for the people there, and avoid the whole flaming/repost thread

what do you guys think?

bout time.. but i think irc might be a little to IT-difficult for the majority of people here. Maybe a web-based chatroom would be better? I'll idle regardless!

well I included the image for the web-based method. super easy, if you can't do it....well...=/ I guess you're not very smart.

note: some work places may have ports blocked so it may not work for everyone.

This is a chatroom suggestion - saves people time of posting a thread, waiting for a reply. GIves people a place to hangout, just talk about anything/cars/problems/E9X related stuff without the hassle of reposts/flame wars...
