Funny you mention this, I met a chick from Tinder who went to undergrad at the same time as one of my best friends. Dug around a bit and found out her and him are also really good friends. Her and my conversation died out because she didn't have much time to meet, was skeptical of guys on Tinder, I was very respectful to her and her time, then I texted my guy friend and told him about her. He spoke very highly of her. He sent her a text telling her that he knows me, etc., and I got a text from her one evening asking if we can meet up!

Hope that made sense, a little confusing haha

Moral of the story...be friendly and classy even if things don't work out...you just never know
