Thanks guys. Bell is 7 and she loves to play, and is always with her younger buddy, 3 year old O.D. (for Other Dog).

Not in the same league as IcyJ exotic photos, but hey it's the snapshot thread and this is a proper snapshot (taken with the iPhone). Just love this car and the wheels though. Saw it today and had to snap a pic.

Even better the room came with a free bottle of wine
I am trying to re-book for the fall colors in October. Also about a mile away, the power company actually erected a pole with a basket at the top to lure the local Osprey away from nesting on the power lines. It worked, and a family was happily nested overlooking the Russian River below. I need to go back with bigger artillery. |

I was waiting for either a train or an osprey to show up down by the bay, when this one appeared out of no where and just ambled down the railroad tracks by the fishing pier.

Went exploring today and found the highest point on Mare Island. It's not much at 364 feet or so, but enough to get some nice views of the surrounding area. I need to go back when it's not so hazy. Here is a pano of the view looking northwest over the old naval shipyard, which had been active since the civil war until 1996.

Nice shot. Smoke from fires or just normal haze?

Nice nightscape, @Rodny.
Got lucky with some major lightning storms tonight after doing some shots of my bike down in Miami. The longest lens I had with me was a 40mm so most of these will be cropped. The Three Amigos by ddk632, on Flickr |
