Wifey and I watched "The Courier" with Benedict Cumberbatch - it was very good and of course based on a true story/events.

Watched The Batman.
Overall a good film, a much more realistic take than the previous realistic take of the Nolan trilogy. About the only unrealistic things are the hybrid jet/V10?12? engine and the Bane serum. Gripes: the car chase was pointless except for when he used the jet to get through it all, but it was like Batman baited him into a street race. Batman didn't even capture the villain, the villain let himself get caught.

TXSTYLE I thought of you. I can't recall the name, but its a new one where a guy was put in an MRI tube, lights flicker, then nothing. He's calling out, starts to try to shimmy back down the tube, and then there is a clown . . .
Not gonna watch it myself, but figured you would.

^ TBH, I'm not into either universe, just liked the comic back when I still read comics (like 60 years ago). It's a nostalgia thing. Will definitely watch it when it comes to my TV, though.

Just finished watching this. Dare I say not only is it better than the first. It is one of the best Action Movies I have EVER seen! The Russo Bros know exactly how to make fantastic action films. Had I paid to go and see this in theaters, I would be 110% satisfied.

A B/W sixties flim with James Garner playing a hapless officer who's drugged and tricked by nazis into believing the war is over to extract sensitive information. Last edited by M5Rick; 06-22-2023 at 06:57 AM.. |
