No issues with staying round.

I recently tried to talk a friend in to a set for a winter wheel, but they are too baller and went with a better known brand acronym.
They are great wheels. I was looking for OEM ZCP wheels and they average about $1,200 used. Figured I'd give the VMRs a shot at $800 shipped, brand new. I'm definitely happy with my purchase a year and a half later.

VMR V703 19x9.5 - 25.25 pounds - $800 set of 4 staggered, includes shipping. ^^

Factory E92 M3 19x9.5 - 29.26 pounds

Factory E92 ZCP 19x9 - 25.4 pounds - $514 each

Fairly light, relative to the factory wheels and upgraded wheels that cost nearly 4 times as much (yet look nearly identical). Choose the right tire and you can have a reasonably light wheel tire set for the cash.

Apex ftw. 18x10 arc-8 is the best bang for the buck track wheels imo.

Just for reference, the VMR V703 18x9.5 weighs in right at 24 pounds. (don't make it in 10" width.) For a nice looking street wheel, V703s are relatively light.

Ah indeed. I usually send her messages here and there to remind her how cute her email pic is, gets all flustered and sends one of those blushy smileys back. It definitely makes her day.

Yeah although you're biased, aren't you, Ducky?

Advan has some crazy weight savings as well...

BBS have heavy ass wheels...

As for VMR - some have good success with them but I've always had an issue with dumping coin to a Chinese manufacturer who basically knocks off other people's designs and makes an inferior cheaper product... To each their own however, my buddy just slapped a pair on his F82... Not my car not my monkey... I'm just anti wheels in Los Angeles, period... I learned my lesson...

I'm not disagreeing with you, I just think Apex makes a better product. Just like you said, the VMRs are a great street wheel. I wouldn't go around hitting curbs on track with them though.

Also, if I'm dropping that kind of money on street wheels, I would have to have a set of Work Meisters.

They also have light wheels those weigh 17 to 18 lbs, similar sizes in Apex 21 to 24lbs.

Well yes, minus their super sexy pricy wheels... Those are probably my favorite btw, for the F8x platform...

It's hard to justify $2k per wheel.

Especially with all the crap roads we have... Can't do it anymore... You legit want to weep tears of sorrow when you curb / bend a 2K wheel... Maybe if I lived on, oh I dunno, a rural farm where I only have to worry about dodging sheep poop... Amirite, ASBSECU E93 ??
