Well , I heard it last night . And it was confirmed early this morning while I drove to the company at 04:30 AM .

As you /we can see : It's very clear that HAM pulls on his steering wheel for at least 3 centimeters !

My understanding of the MB rear wing is that it has previously passed all FIA inspections but at Brazil something BROKE on the rear wing with the result that the measuring tool passed through the outer section & not inner section. Normally this would have been able to have been REAIRED under parc ferme conditions...but not this weekend...

Martin Brundle tells me that in his opinion Max opened up the steering angle & could have made more of an effort to make the corner, that's good enough for me. Conveniently the on-board footage is not available...camera view switches at crucial moment....ah ha, just as well MB has everyone in their pocket

Anyways looking forward to the next race

From MAX's latest Dutch interview ,In short :
I had to push the car beyond the limits in the turns , it was in the turns that I could gain the lost time back because Lewis was so much faster on the straights .
If you push the car beyond the limits in the turns , your tyres are overheated very quckly .
In the situation with Lewis , my tyres were completely overheated that's why I lost grip .

Mate I won't bother to post up the links, the rear wing in the MB was faulty causing it to fail the FIA test this weekend & MB were prevented from repairing the wing under parc ferme conditions, which ordinarily they would have, thems the facts.

So the question now is how much more can the RB give? Does RB take an engine penalty and max it out for the remaining 3 races and follow Mercedes?

VER essentially has one race to give away IF they can get more out of the engine and by taking an engine penalty, be able to go all out for the final races without fear of engine damage.

If not, and this is the true power and speed of the W12 and Mercedes was sandbagging all year out of engine preservation, then RBs hope of winning a WDC comes down to Mercedes getting a DNF because of a hardware failure.

A racing incident, when Max ran out of grip he didn't ram Ham. At Silverstone Ham wasn't taking any prisoners, was he.
