Yes my Canadian friend it's cold here in Belgium. Damn cold !
I'm not far from the Belgian Ardennes and that's actually the coldest part of Belgium .
The last 2 mornings I went to work at 4:30 AM with the Mini and the roads were like ice skating revues .
Drove 30km to my work on ice with some downhills...Holy shit ! But I have skills and pull the handbrake when it's needed .
My city said we have enough salt (130,000 KG) for the whole winter , but I didn't saw salt ..(damn suckers)
Lot's of car accidents and people with broken legs and shoulders is the result ..
For tomorrow the weather prediction is even colder with snow .

I guess I just always thought of Belgium being warmer than Canada. I don't find -13 to be overly cold, but I'm not walking around in a t-shirt for sure. Usually a leather jacket is warm enough, but I have a fleece jacket I bust out if I'm taking the dog for a walk for more than 30 min. But I don't enjoy the cold - I think I would like to live in Florida when I retire some 30 odd years from now.
