It looks like starting on the soft was really detrimental to VER. The non-penalty is a non-factor and would have changed nothing just would have delayed HAM taking the lead.

It's the only thing they can do (attack by strategy change).
But I don't think it's going to help. The difference is just too big.
HAM is just so quick today in the merc.

The only thing that really speaks for Max is that I think he is better at coping with different situations.
Both HAM and the Merc team are I think really good at executing how they planned things in advance, but with strange situations on the track RB is better.

With the Mercedes being inherently faster, the gap should go down but not as easy as one may think
