Do you know why I love the M5 / M6?
Because it has comfy leather seats with luggage room for a roadtrip and kicks the snot out most of the exotics. To the un-initiated, it is just like any other car. Somewhat stealthy. When it spanks people who drive exotics and who wear more than 5 gold chains......the look of disbelief and humilation is worth all the times I need to fill the car up with gas.

wow, the amount of doubters is really insane!! I've been to way to many driving meets not to believe this. after 120 mph the way the M5 and M6 pull away doesn't make any kind of sense, it defines belief. I for one thing believe the hell out of this video!!

Awesome. Murci pulled on him in the beginning pretty well and had a stable lead. For the M6 to reel him back in the continue by beating him shows the true power this car has in the higher gears.

How about a Gallardo versus a station wagon?

AWD sucks the power and the M6 has better gearing. And the BMW V10 delivers power in the last 2000 rpm. A recipe for a Lambo dinner.

Lamborghini's engine specs (2003 model)
Power: 426 kW , 575 HP SAE @ 7,500 rpm; 479 ft lb , 650 Nm @ 5,400 rpm M6 engine specs Power: 373 kW , 507 HP SAE @ 7,750 rpm; 383 ft lb , 520 Nm @ 6,100 rpm The respective places where their peak power are achieved are very similar and there is little chance that in an extra 700revs the big Lambo would be below the figure of torque that the M6 has. I can agree up to a point that awd will sap power but not to the level where a heavier, less powerful car can be quicker. Unless the output of the M6 is a lot more than stock figures. P.S. The big Lambo is too vulgar anyway, even more so than the M6. (jk) |

Footie, data is data, we have a vid that clearly shows the M6 as faster and we have a M5 stationwagon that is almost as fast..... Perhaps the Lambo drivers should wear fewer gold chain or rings.....

By the way, what would that M6 from the video be putting out with regards to output (hp+torque)? |

Wanna see how much Quattro Sucks?
Don't cry about how these videos are fixed. This is VW on VW. You continue to be an ostrich with your head in the sand.....Quattro SUCKs for high performance cars.

i dont know about anyone else, but i will take a lambo over an m6 anyday.
What happened to BMW lovers being more than all about the straight line? cause in all honesty BMW isnt known for their low end torque or their straight way speeds. In a real race, on a track, with similar talent drivers, that lambo will eat the m6 anyday. Plus, the lambo interiors destroy the m6 in comfort. trust, ive been in both. |
