Yikes. I dont have a weak stomach but this is horrific. I saw an image of a guy in a wheelchair with is leg severed and literally open like a flower below the knee. Absolutely heart breaking. Almost in tears. Really freaks me out

Seems to currently be 3 dead, like 130 injured, 8 in critical condition (just saw on Fox).

It also seems it might be an organization (more than one person involved) attack. 4 bombs located in different areas, would be hard for one person to pull that off.

My question stemmed from you saying that it was "in Boston on Tax Day". Did you mean that it was someone pissed about paying taxes, that dislikes people from Boston? Do you think this would have happened on tax day if the Boston 26.2 wasn't on the same day?

I wonder why, if someone wanted to really terrorize people with death and carnage, why they wouldn't have set off the explosions before the race when there were thousands of densely populated runners and spectators in a large area for a good amount of time. No disrespect to the recently departed or the very large group of injured, but given what i've seen from, for lack of a better word; professional terrorists, this seems to be somewhat amateurish.

I also wonder what my avatar has to do with anything? Ignorance and assumptions go hand in hand.

so at this moment at 10pm, it doesn't look likely that Saudi national is a prime suspect. He is cooperative and is talking, looks more like racial profiling. sucks for him, hopefully he gets out without having his name destroyed in the press like Richard Jewel.

We don't always agree but i agreed with everything in your post that i didn't quote.

This was my thought process when i heard the news of two explosions happening near the finish line a few seconds from each other.

After i heard there was a 3rd device that was found i pictured some disgruntled American, much like Timothy McVeigh. So take comfort in knowing that not all americans think that every bomb in america was set off by an Arab.
