I was never that big of a fan of the C63 Coupe (I like the sedan though), but this Black Series with the fenders and front and rear bumpers just sets this thing apart from anything in its price range.

Whats your complete stable look like these days? Did you sell your GTR?

Interesting, my m6 made 465 whp on the eas dyno. But mine had an evolve tune. Looks like the hp claims are quite accurate

Actually I got it from another store but I like the black moniker that the House has. So when I took it for an alignment I put that one on instead.

Worlds apart in many ways:

The CBS handles like a dream--- chassis response, suspension feedback, steering accuracy makes this car a tracklike marvel. The N/A engine and enhanced stock tuning creates immediate response and tq pull. I love the note of the exhaust: the upshift barks and downshift throttle blips are awesome. I have had 7 amgs and this is by far the best one. Benz got it right with this car.

The M5 is the faster of the two- Id rather have the C63 off the line with its 60% lockup lsd but the M5 will pull hard into triple digit speeds. But they serve two different purposes. The CBS is a street race car and the M5 is a GT Saloon with some sports car characteristics. The M5 will not out handle a car that weighs about 500 lbs less and you can definitely feel it in the high speed 100 plus turns and sharp lower speed corners.

I just wish the CBS had a DCT tranny---- game over.

I only ask because I was nearly going to pull the trigger on a BS about a year ago but it was way out of budget the way I wanted it spec'd. Luckily you are in a position to own such a lovely car in a nice collection of beasts. MCT isn't too bad when you consider the M156 has one of the most guttural V8 sounds I've ever heard.
