I got one a while ago, put the license plate on, went to the police station, wrote it off, paid $10 and lived a happy life. Oh yeah, I didn't complain on the forums.

What's interesting about this law. Atleast here in Mass., is the fact that if you own a green license plate. Basically an older license plate then this rule does not affect you. This I believe is due in part to not giving 2 out during past years, atleast I would assume. Now that is fine, but if this law was so meaningful and needed. Why not have those green license plate holders exchange theirs for new ones?
If the law is ok for one group to break due to having it before me then that is unfair. It shows that it is not needed and causes no harm or hardtime for cops.

Once again, not complaining, just making an interesting conversation topic. If you'll see there are plenty of people who want to add their 2 cents/experiences/opinions. If you don't wanna see people complaining on the forums then don't respond.....thanks for playing

having no front plate is risky because it gives the cops a reason to pull you over so if you have some beers and drive home they'll get you for that and OOPS DUI!

No, it is because in other parts of the world they just shoot you if you don't show them respect.

one of my friends just got arrested for not paying for 2 tickets and he was driving with a suspended license, so then he got pulled over for not having a front license and yeah... me and my friend were in his car and kinda stranded he left with them at 10 a.m and didnt come back until 11:45 pm.. it was really bad... so anyways u definatly should just pay for it otherwise you'll just get yourself into more shit... 50$s is better than having no license at all..

hmm... i dont quite understand when people say that. how could a law be req. by law, but not be enforced? thats so stupid. just banish the law....no?
