The movie was excellent. For a bunch of SF guys to be on film for the first time, they did great. Their tactical movement and lingo was obviously second nature. Made me want to re-up.

Well there's a pretty fundamental difference between Restrepo and Black Hawk Down.

Restrepo was a documentary based on first person accounts in Afghanistan.

Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down is the Hollywood interpretation on events in Somalia. Still a great movie, and they did a good job making it

I agree, two totally different types of movies.
