Range Rover sport vs Cayenne
Both equipped similar and are '11 models..which would you choose? Cayenne is non-S btw and RR Sport is HSE Lux.

Since it's not the S, I'd go with the RR Sport.
EDIT: for some reason, I thought I saw you say it was the supercharged model. In that case... Cayenne or go home.

if your going to drive a Porsche Cayenne you need to get a Turbo S.. because S and lower is shit. I used to own a cayenne S and sold it within 3 months of buying the car.. very uncomfortable (especially freeways) very bumpy.. but i would not mind get the gts =]

cayenne +1! just sold my 11 x5 and was contemplating between the lr4 cayenne s or touareg hybrid. My needs are different and I need low gearing and 4wd, which neither of the new touareg or cayenne offer. I just did an impulse buy and bought a G-wagen.
BTW the cayenne is leaps and bounds better than any RR(and I'm a big fan of them) or it's younger brother the touareg and the x5 in terms of quality, interior, driving dynamics

damn.. seems everyone loves the cayenne over the RRS. Only problem is, I have a '05 cayenne and RR dealer is giving me 5K more than the porsche dealer is for trade in and that's also including a customer loyalty thru the porsche dealer.

Range... the new cayenne's look to soft imo, even the turbo...but i would take an older body cayenne gts or turbo over a new 11 RR sport

Why is everyone bringing up the cayenne turbo.
The op states nothing about an suv in the 100k plus league. Obviously if money was no object everyone looking for an suv would have one. To answer your question I would go with the cayenne over the range. If you want to stretch it a little the cayenne s is worth the money difference. |

thanks for the input fellas, went with a RRS lux. Porsche's salesman weren't wanting my business and didn't seem to care. So i took it somewhere else, and that was 2 different porsche dealerships btw. Hopefully tata has gotten a lot of the kinks out with the newer models. Driving good so far. I'll update how it goes.
