I´ve had a samsung 42in plasma for 5 years now and it has been great. Lasted through hell while I was in college, it stayed on for 12 hours+ many many many days

If you like your Kuro, the new Panasonic VT is your best bet if you need a replacement. They picked up all of the staff and technology from Pioneer when they pulled out of the TV game.

yes, my post was deleted after i posted a picture saying "BAN HIM" for the spammer that came in here and originally bumped the thread.
but now that i'm bored, i want to add a couple things. first of all, i got a 52" Samsung TOC 120hz back in 2009 when it first came out and it's been nothing short of amazing ever since. although i need an upgrade, this TV is downstairs in the living room and stays on for approximately 6 hours monday through Friday and about 13 hours a day on the weekends... i really really REALLY want the Panasonic 80"..... if i keep working the overtime that i'm working now, i think i can swing it by November.... and second of all, i have to respond to this post: Quote:

I just got a LG 27ms73 which cost USD500 I think I overpaid when I saw 30-40" ones going for the same price and decent quality.
But once I pluged it in the picture and sound was so good I have no complaints.. (but also nothing to compare to, so..) Did you know the TVs now can record with SD card built-in, and it can go on the internet? |
