just joined. managed to get $0 initiation and it's $152/mo with a free 50 minute massage just now. didn't take much to get the guy that signed me up to waive the initiation fee. almost seems like standard operating procedure. pricing structure is like this (at least here):

home club only - $395 initiation $131/mo
dallas clubs - $595 initiation $152/mo
all clubs in US - $645 initiation $172/mo

i was very impressed by the gym. it's cleaner than my house after the maid leaves. cleanliness was the main reason i left the other gym i was at. everything down to the eucalyptus oiled cold towels is just plain nice. the equinox that's down the street from my house is smaller than the other one here (the other one is like a gigantic 4-story building with a valet, etc.), but it had plenty of equipment. can't wait to start training there tomorrow!

Yeah ngl that's a pretty sweet deal you've got going on. The biggest problem with selling memberships at my gym is dealing with prices.

It was exclusively businessmen and young professional women, almost all of whom were good looking. No grunting, no thunderous dropping of weights from the highest point they could reach. A very nice, friendly clientele.
while i was there today, it was primarily the business professional crowd over lunch, but there were a few milfs doing pilates. the part of town that both of the gyms are in are in prime pussy hunting areas anyway. i'm sure that tons of trophy pussy is there in hoards in the evening.

we'll see how it goes. i can see how this might be the case there, but it's too nice of a place not to train there.

They used to be high dollar, but now if you sign up for a family plan its cheap, and even single plans now dont have sign up fee's or contracts. They have a $1 a day special going. They have everything you can think of to work out with(including those giant ropes you toss over and over). Love the South and the prices.

Nice deal. The country wide deal is actually pretty good if you do a lot of traveling. The ones all over manhattan are pretty epic.
