If you wanted to take legal action for someone violating your property you can do so. Unfortunantly if you did not get a sample of his DNA or saliva, you are out of luck. Then again you have his license plate.

Looks like bird shit to me because I highly doubt spit would sit there and collect like that - saliva is much too watery and would run down the window and just leave a watermark, even if the guy was eating something beforehand (then you would see food chunks around it).
