At first I was complaining about the bike too ...until they did the test at 100mph+. At that point, it doesn't matter wtf bike you were using, it wasn't gonna happen without some cheats as the end of video 3 shows.

Mythbusters sucks. They tested the convertible at highway speeds = dry driver myth and said the driver will get wet. I was driving 65mph in my SLK with the top down and pouring rain. I was 95% dry as long as I maintained pace. The only place that was getting wet was around the windshield where water was collecting and dripping down the sides.

Who cares if BMW faked it!?

Truth in advertising? Yes, when it applies. But, even then they'll fake ideal conditions.
However, in this ad, being able to pull a table cloth away has NOTHING to do with how a motorcycle performs, nor does it make any false statement about what a motorcycle does.
They hire a creative ad agency to create an IMAGE, something cool so that people watch, and then associate with a brand.

You guys have heard the Dos XX' beer commercials about "the most interesting man in the word". Does anyone really believe he is? Does he have anything to do with the beer or what it tastes like? NO. It's an image. It's a creation of association for the product.

Move on already.

From a physics teacher, they are 100% spot on.

Does not matter what the bike is. Even if they got the bike up to 150 mph, it still would not work. Sorry BMW fanboys.
