looks nice, i think it's one of their best lokoing cars. does it come in 4motion?
APR is a solid tune. i wonder if they have a stg 2 kit, ie bigger injectors, exhaust, etc. |

You really didn't want to just keep the 335i? I mean 10 years of BMW might get a bit boring, but I can't imagine getting tired of it.

You guys are being harsh on the kid. There is some truth to his post he just doesn't know how to word it properly lol I went from a 335 coupe to an Acura TSX. i was initially going to get the CC but lack of features turned me away. Long story short I drove the TSX and loved it. Fast forward 6 months and I miss my 335 so much. I fucked up and shoulda gotten another 335. While I love the creature comforts (Acura is way ahead of BMW when it comes to technology) i miss the sportiness of the bimmer. Also going from a MT to an Automatic didnt help either. Will pick up a used 335 again once the lease on this ends.

Wouldn't the power delivery of the 335 be superior to the M3 on an auto-X track...as long as you can modulate the torque.

The M3 power is adequate as long as you keep the rpm in its sweet spot and in the right gear where the 335i lacks LSD and the M3's superior suspension. In autocross the time difference between the two cars is even greater than on the track.

It's not really that I was tired of it, just wanted a change to something a little different. Like I said before, the 3 series is great, but if you live in the Northern NJ area they are a dime a dozen. Literally more common than civics in my area. Plus I wanted 4 doors and something a little more unique. I could have gotten another 335, or an M3, or whatever I wanted, regardless of price I just thought this was a great looking car. I'll be back to BMW one day, I love the new 5 series, I just needed something a little different for a while. I'm still a BMW fan at heart, I actually never even liked VW's before I saw this model.

True, the LSD would be huge on an auto-X, and certainly the suspension on the M3 would be superior. I was thinking that you would modify the 335 to bring the suspension and what not up to the task. Stock for stock there is no questions which one is better.

I love the look of the CC but the price quickly gets out of control if you opt for AWD and the V6 (as I would). Fully optioned that thing can run $40k+ which is alot for a stylized Passat....

And it's not even guarantied you're gonna end up with a reliable street/track compliant rattle/squeak free suspension like the m3's. |

Very true, performance from the factory is always a better package then a bunch of aftermarket parts.
