Wow..now that is an insanely awesome looking place, I mean its still not cozy in my idea, but WOW what a view from the bedroom! I always loved that idea of a really expensive place like that high above a city like LA, out of the way but still well within view of all the lights n the huge city. Bet that place cost well into the 10-12 mil range

i'll pass. Not my cup of tea....
i'll take a nice french style estate. 13,000 square feet.....5 car garage...infinity pool...and an illuminated driveway.... looks like I better ramp up on covered calls and put options....need to make a lil bit more $$$$$

to me.. it's not ugly.. but I don't really care much for the "modern style" home.. till you get to the garage as then I really like it - a lot!

I once had a really nice corner officer in a building that was had entire glass facade which look great from the outside and inside. However it was pain to deal with as the weather changed. In my case my office was unusable in winter. My office got direct sun light form noon to 4 in the afternoon during bright sunny days when the temp was near freezing my officer would be 80 or 90. The reason was the interior of the building still needed heating since it was 32 degrees out and there was no way to have air conditioning and heating going at the same time, yes smaller temp zones would have worked, but they used couple very large conditioning systems for the entire building. When you have homes with lots of glass like this they look really neat but living in them can be like living in a green house, they get really hot. |

that architecture is clean and detailing a construction like that takes a lot of time and thinking but it would have its own inconveniences.

God forbids bad luck should strike the owner of the house to the point where he has to sell it....I wonder how long it would take to sell a house like that. It's so customized that it will only attract a very small demographic of buyers.

About the opaque option shit, if i had that money I would just have the kind of tint used on the windows that basically makes it near black from the outside yet nearly 100% see thru from the inside so you can see outside perfectly from the inside but its basically like a 5% tinted car from the out, total privacy, and of course itd be 100% waterproof tint. That would also block out nearly 100% of the UV rays and crazy heat as well so even if you didnt have curtains everywhere it would be alright. Im sure that kind of tint covering that much space would cost in the many thousands, but hell, the house cost 5 mil, you could spare the change
