Urban is doing great (considering who he is replacing-Steve)and watchout for tebo next season. Tebo is just a nightmare for sec teams. Arkansas will also be a force next year. LSU will fall next year (too many seniors leaving). Just my guess for sec.

hahhaha.....GO UCLA!
I love reading your guys' posts now....tad bit early, free pass...hahahha. Well, I guess that is why they actually play the game. Bruins stand proud today....not so great season, but giving USC a major upset...priceless!

Florida will get the nod from the voters. Its going to be a UF-OSU title game.
The SEC is hands down the best conference in football. Pure speed at every skill position on almost every team. The talent level is so high on these teams (minus Kent.,Vandy) that they all end up beating the crap out of each other during the regular season. The top teams in the SEC... Florida, LSU, Ark, Tenn, Auburn, UGA, are heads and shoulders above the top 6 in the Big Ten. Outside of Ohio, Michigan and Wisc., there arent any great teams this year. OSU is obviously the best team in the country, mainly because of Smith. People can argue Mich should get a rematch, but i believe if you dont win your conference, you have no business playing in the title game. And who ever said Florida doesnt have the talent or the athletes clearly hasnt watched college football this year. The talent and speed at WR/RB/TE and all over the defense is frightening and probably better than OSU. Freshman RB Percy Harvin will be a heisman candidate next year even as a sophomore, WATCH. QB and O-Line play will cost the gators though. |

Hate to burst peoples bubble's but it's going to be an OSU/Michigan rematch in the BCS title game. Too many of the voters don't feel that Florida is a better overall team then Michigan and they don't have enough support to leapfrog them into the No. 2 spot. Florida looked very shaky in several games(albeit against good competition) and voters are keying in on that. Michigan looked very good all year and it's only loss was to OSU by 3 on OSU's field. It will be OSU-1, Mich.-2 , Florida -3.
Looks like I may stand corrected. Florida is ranked #2 in the USA and AP polls but by a slim margin. It's going to be a close one. Last edited by Carnage; 12-03-2006 at 04:59 PM.. |
