I have been a member since I can't remember and enjoy the HPDE's every summer. My daughter went through the Street Survival Program last spring and I also have bought or leased 6 cars through BMW Credit and have enjoyed the $$$$ back by being a member. I highly recommend the Club to one and all.

A member from the Richmond, VA Chapter sent me (I am overseas right now) about 30 magazines most of which are Roundel. I am excited to join when I get Stateside. Quality magazine and even better members!

yeah, I've saved more money on parts than the membership cost me. Just the 20% off when I bought a new battery for the 7 series was more savings than the membership cost.
Yeah, often online parts can cost less, butt6hen there's shipping and waiting for the part to get here (and extra cost to get it overnight if you need it). Having the discount at the dealer and being able to have the part in hand right there is great. And then there's the club events, like the DIYs and Socials, tours, etc. Yeah, defintiely worth the money.

In the last 15 years as a member I have received $2500 in rebates from the Club... I think that it pays to be a member.

I got a car worth $29,500 and $1,000 in rebates from the BMWCCA. That should cover the cost of the dues for a very long time.

$500 discount on a CPO M car pays for a lot of years of membership.

Everyone in my family is a member through their add-on plan. Discounts on parts, not to mention having the cca sticker in the window reminding you of what you are part of is worth it completely.

I love being in the club. Right now my particular chapter hasn't hosted very many events lately, but I get to meet a lot of fellow enthusiasts. I never thought I'd get the chance to join a car club and I'm thrilled to be in one. BMWCCA is worth it. Roundel is great, too. I also love sporting my BMWCCA sticker on my rear window.... makes you feel proud to be in what I believe is one of the greatest car clubs around.

Membership is worth it for the Roundel magazine alone... and of course the discounts for purchasing new vehicles can literally pay you for your membership as others have mentioned... So even if you are not geographically located near your chapter these are two huge benefits.
Discounts on parts at local dealers or at advertisers in the Roundel also are nice., Hopefully you are located near your chapter's geographical center, but if not, it may be worth a drive... I joined the Hoosier chapter in 1993 and drove one hour each way to Indianapolis for chapter events. Easily worth it! I am currently in the DFW area of Texas and we have club members that drive two to as much as five hours for some of our driving events like our autocrosses and our driver's education events. For those that move often or are moving to a new area, being a club member and attending events in your new area are an instant way to make new friends in a new city! I am WAY beyond biased, as I just recently became a LIFETIME member and I am also our chapter president... It's sorta ridiculous that I waited 17 years to pop for the lifetime membership... If you are a current member and have been for a few years, check out the extended membership rates, and for those that get rebates, maybe give back your give-back towards future give backs... Absolutely I will be at Road America... Should be my 4th Ofest in a row (Fort Worth 2007, Watkins Glen 2008, and Atlanta 2009) and sixth overall.
I will make sure that our chapter folks now of the Road monkey route planning, but I will be trailering my race car, so I will be taking the direct route |

I've received two $500 checks for buying CPO vehicles and at least that much in savings due to 10% discount on parts and labor at the dealer.
In short, hell yes it's worth it.

Let me first say that I don't know anything about club life in the US, what a membership includes, or whether this is a comercial or an idealistic organisation
But from my point of view, being member of an enthusiasts club is nothing you expect to pay off in dollars, pounds or euros. It pays off in joy, sharing a common interest, meetings, trips etc. Or am I naive
