Actually for some reason the taste of a Big Mac has like it's own uniqueness that can't be mimicked anywhere else...sorta weird but I actually like the Big Mac over alot of these other burgers even if they taste better, something about the Big mac...

1) Never heard of Juicy Burger
2) In & Out is NOWHERE NEAR as good as CA residents think. The french fries they serve with their burgers are garbage.

damnnnn!! i wish i would have visited a lot of these places you guys are naming in L.A., i have been to The Habit though in sherman oaks . A&W's are kinda rare here in cen. cal so i try to hit one up if i see it, in-n-out is always a good choice, tommy's is BOMB when you're drunk and a western substituted with chicken and a honey wheat bun from carls jr. is the business!! but if i'm really craving a burger i form my own patties and make something i like to call "The Salsa Guacamole Avacado Grilled Onion Bacon Pepperjack Cheese Chipotle Mayo Twenty Dollar Burger"

For people that don't like In N Out fries, order 'em "well done" and you'll probably get a fry in the style you're more familiar with. For heart attack central, I like a 3x3 or 4x4 (no lettuce or tomato, extra pickles, onions and spread) with well done, animal style fries.
Also, Father's Office is great. Hot/flirty bartenders, Chimay on tap and a sold, albeit non-traditional burger. For a "higher end" burger, try Burger Bar in Las Vegas. They have a great Kobe Burger with shaved truffles and stuffed with foie gras. Runs about $70-75. Goes great with a 1980's Chateau Margeux Margeux or Chateau Montelena Pinot. Total bill, with the wine, will run you about $400 (didn't say it was cheap). |
