Your right, the underpinnings of the H2 is the suburban.
THey did a nice job of it though. I hate the damm things. Its a bunker on wheels. Selfish people drive them. Dependent on OPEC oil does not help our causes. Support our troops by reducing fuel consumption! |

HEY!!!
Stop the critisim. LOL. My mother has an 05' Hummer and she has had zero problems with it and it has about 45K miles on it. Yeah it drinks gas like water to a marathon runner, but she loves it and if you can afford the gas, why not invest in something you like. |

LOL. My mother only gets a car every 5+ years, so when she gets something, its because she really likes every aspect about it. She was in the Air Force so this was something that she had been wanting for a long time.

H2 gets a bum rap, people make a huge fuss about it when it's really just the same as any other full size SUV in terms of economy. make it look like a military vehicle though, and all the hippy's are going to hate it. (really for no other reason than its looks) |

Actually it would not surprise me if sites like that already existed. And I would also not be surprised if people have submitted pictures of H2s being defaced to the FUH2 site, which the owner probably then (wisely) refused to publish. |

I actually somewhat like the H3. Yes it is underpowered, and that 5 cylinder engine is worthless, but its not designed to be a good handling car. My previous car was a 1996 chevy blazer, and it was built like a tank. I took it offroading regularly with no aftermarket mods. I never had a single problem with it, and drove it until it had over 150k miles on it. If GM could produce a truck now like they did for me back in 96, then I would probably have gotten one...
If the H3 was offered with a powerful V6 or even a decent size V8, It would be a nice truck. Keep in mind its used for a different purpose. If I had one, I would continue offroading, and would probably laugh at all the 'pavement princesses' on the road... |

Hummers are not good off road. I know because I started an off road club in college http://porc.purdue.org
Instead of a Hummer, I would get the new 4 door wrangler!!! So many mods available already and it came out a week ago. |

and about FUH2.com If people are complaining that if you get hit by one you will die, then dont drive a POS cobalt or something cheap like that!!! If you hit anything in the crappy economy cars, you will die!! If some one hits you in an H2, then you will most likely be safer than the other person, that is the point!! To be safe from these retards on the road that dont know how to drive!!!
I could keep going, but you get the idea... |

I didn't order a Hummer (H2/H3) because I am not a rapper with bling out taste nor a self absorbed asswipe who couldn't care less about wasting our world resource..

H2 = overpriced Suburban
those things are so big and cluncky. i remember seeing a H2 "steal" someone else's parking spot in front of a restaurant. the spot was labeled Compact, but the asshole swooped in and took it from the person waiting for it. Funning thing was after he parked the beast, no one could open their doors to get out because the cars on either side were like 1 inch away, HAHAHAA. serves him right.....

H2s get a bad rap sheet by people. If they were so bad then they wouldnt be on the road like they are. They get the same gas milage as other SUVs but they dont get that same criticism. The truck handles very nice for it to be so large and it attracts alot of attention. yeah my mother could of gotten an Escalade but thats not what she wanted, and she has not regret her decision yet. Also the interior i prefer over the previous Escalade, with the exception of the leather.

But to the SUV defense, one of my uncles used to sell BMW's and when the Z3's came out, a lot of people were going to the body shop because their wives couldnt handle them, they women were complaining of too much power and were hitting people.
How sad... I think it is safe to say that people in general cant drive, no matter what they are driving. |

You're right and that furthur strengthen my hatred for them. If you're driving a Mini, think of the survival rate you'll have during a high speed collision with a Z3 vs a 8000lbs behemoth like the H2...the outcome won't look too bright on your end.
