Probably I'm the only one here who doesn't really like Shumi, having said that, he is the greatest drivers in the 90's till 2006!!! There's simply no doubt about it, winning 7 time world champ (2 in Benetton with Flavio and 5 in Ferrari with Jean Todd), no argument there!
And I don't really think he should come out from retirement, he left a great chapter in F1 history and should just leave it like that, why bother to mess with it again. I'd say probably its desprate times for Ferrari and they need "test drivers" as good as Schumi (no in-season testing this year, so every race is also a testing ground for all the teams), and help Ferrari to test and develop the car for the rest of 2009 and next year (no major aero regulations change). Now, who will bring back Mika Hakkenen??? (Shumi once said Mika was one of his fearful rival!) Also will be interesting to see Alonso to fight with Schumi again and also all the new drivers like Hamilton and Vettel.

What channels can you watch the F1 races in the US on, if they even broadcast them here?

I think this was a brilliant bit of work on Ferraris part. Bringing Michael Schumacher back while Massa is recovering is the best thing to happen to F1 this season. For Ferrari it will bring some very positive press their way. Lets face it, Kimi is not exactly the most charismatic guy ever. Ferrari needs someone with some passion, and love him or hate him, Schumacher has always had that in spades. Plus, I really think he has been itching to race again, but his continued affiliation with Ferrari has made this nearly impossible. This way he can come back for a bit, score some points, and slide back into retirement. To those who think this is unfair to the test drivers, I say give me a break. This is a business and those guys bring nothing to the table.
For F1 this is a huge break. I mean it has already made the exit of BMW from F1 a page two story. If every race he is in does not sell out Ill be surprised. Im just wondering how much my G3 Eau-Rouge tickets are worth now. All that said. I really hope Massa is able to return. He really deserves a championship, and I honestly think that is playing a large part in Schumachers decision to return.

This is fantastic! I can't wait to see the rest of the season.
We all just have to hope that he passes his physical. He had a bike accident in the beginning of the year and he still has back and neck problems.

Amazing news, F1 will get VERY interesting for sure. Hope Ferrari can produce a competitive car in 20 days. Also going to take much getting used to the new vehicle since it handles and is quite different from the last F1 he raced.

Clearly shows your knowledge of F1. There is no possible way to say that one was better than the other. The "But if he didn't die..." argument for Senna cannot trump the actual results Schumacher put out because one case is an educated guess while another is solid fact. Sure, Senna maybe would have been better, but you can't have a firm argument when there's a maybe.
