I'd trade my 335i anytime anyday for one of those

How about this Civic? I saw a bunch of them in Scotland recently. The R version is really hot, but, true to Honda's recent frontal lobotomy, it's not available in the US.

Let's see - Chrysler down, GM down, Toyota hurting, Honda kicking itself in the balls, Ford better make the best of this opportunity.

Its sad to see what's happening with honda IMO. They have always built reliable, fuel-efficient economy cars and with the way things are, that's sadly the direction that the industry is moving towards.

I'm an ex-s2000 owner, and just recently sold my 335i to pick up another one (still looking to find the right one ) so to see them move away from building such cars is pretty sad. The NSX was revolutionary for its time, and if it didn't stay in production without any major updates for two decades than the criticisms of the car (ie. underpowered) probably wouldn't have been there. The S2000 is probably the most fun to drive car I have ever driven below $100k, and I sincerely mean that. Oh well, let's hope that honda doesn't completely forget about its racing heritage, but with articles like this it doesn't look too good...
