I bought my bimmer becuase it was a sedan that had an ok amount of room while still being fun and having a manual transmission. I looked at the G8, but it didn't have a manual.
If I was going to get a coupe in a similar price range to my bimmer, it'd be a mustang, not a camaro; its got a nicer interior, nicer exterior, better exhaust sound stock. |

Clearly the car is not for everyone, but depending on what you use it for and what your needs are, nothing is more grin-inducing than that kind of hp/trq! |

A ZR1 is a Chevy. But some people here would rather have a 335 because of the badge.... The ignorance in this subforum is ridiculous sometimes. It makes me want to go buy a new SS, bolt on a couple mods, and obliterate every punk ass self-entitled bitch kid I see in a 335.... Then post the vids all over the internet. Just my $.02 |

oh and as i go and reread the posts and see that everyone posting owns a 335 it make understand why you guys think the camaro is crap, because 335 fanboys think there car is the shit. I hold nothing against the 335 as i would consider buying one if i ever have the need for one.

I looked at the Challenger srt8 before buying the 335. The interior did suck. Not as bad as the old cars because they didnt even try to spruce it up. it was plain which was fine, but the materials sucked. Plus the fact that the guy wouldnt drop a penny below MSRP and the jacked up prices. I sat down and thought to my self "why would I ever pay 50k for a DODGE?". I've had a Dodge. It was a POS.

IIRC, it laps the 'Ring some 7 seconds faster than the 335, meaning 3.5 seconds faster than the Cobalt SS. Not incredibly impressive for a car with this much power, but saying "it doesn't handle" just shows how much you know about the subject. |

The Camaro SS is one hell of a car. Trust me, it CAN handle. Add three minor bolt-on parts and this car will run mid 12's all day long. Is it for me? Not necessarily. Its too much on the large side.

The 335's dash isn't impressive either. The double hump is not easy on the eyes by any means and the abrupt transition in the center console doesn't exactly make me drool either. Yeah, the materials are mostly ok, but these cars aren't exactly light years ahead of the Camaro in terms of quality or design.

So let's deal in reality here. 98% of the drivers here couldn't get any better perfromance out of the 335 vs. the Camaro, so if one handles better than the other is not relevent to the discussion. The Camaro is far less expensive and less complicated machine. The Camaro is a 2-month wait to get one. 335's are discounted.

What I'd like to see is the Z28 come to fruition. CTS-V power in a more nimble package.... That's enticing. Heard the project was on the chopping block though, and even if it made it, it would be an expensive, limited run of cars. Shame. They had a monster on their hands....
