Well if we execute all the tree huggers in CA that should reduce the carbon footprint...
And I don't even like black cars.

Okay so first the tax increase, the DMV fees increase, then the water regulation and now this?? I swear I'm getting quite fed up with all this bullshit. This probably won't pass but I'm still pissed that someone actually proposed this kind of shit.

WTF where they thinking ?? seriously how stupid do you have to get in life to come up with shit like this? this would probably be the last thing on my mind that would be energy efficient, go call GM and ford and start telling them to make better cars instead of 6.2 liter v8's. man bush fucked this country up beyond recognition.

I bought my Evo in black because I thought it's an aggressive appeal for the car. With that said, never again am I buying another black car. You spend hours detailing and it gets windy for 5 minutes...canceling out all the work.

California should be a separate COUNTRY!
Judges that overturn the will of the people, illegals are treated better than it's citizens, regs that may be good at some point are historically about 10-15 years too soon from ease an of implementation standpoint, they worship excess in Hollyweird yet decry success for the rest of humanity. It's a great place to visit, but thinking about it makes me sad and angry. |

there are much better ways to save energy than to change the color of our cars... they might as well put a ban on any vehicle with an engine larger than 3L... so we can all drive around in turbo charged 4 bangers.

Looks like you are safe, for now. It looks like during testing CARB couldn't find any type of dark pain that would meet its standards.

When I lived in CA, they tried to pass a law that would outlaw any car made prior to like 1980. Since in CA cars never rot and die like they do in the north east they still had lots of people still driving round the gas hogs of the 60's and 70's
At the time this was 1992, I own a 66 mustang as my everyday commute car and I had and still have an 1953 F-100. As part of the law they guaranteed cars owns they would get at least $500 if they traded them in on a new cars. Guess who was backing the law, new car dealers and scrape metal dealers. Needless to say every car club in the state bombard the legislators with letters the bill never got past. |
