That is correct. the design of the lift does not need to be bolted to the floor. See my previous post with the link to where I purchased it for further info.

Thats truly awesome! I was thinkn of doing the same but no need to since the garage we use is like 4x's bigger than yurs we can fit 2 big cars in ours.. but I am planning on putting tile in the garage and paint the walls w/ BMW stuff..

Thanks, just make sure the ceiling height is at least 10ft but ultimatly 11ft and hifgher is ideal. ANd you have to change the type of door opener unless you can put the car back far enough so the door opener is not in the way of the windsheild.
