I’ve had several M cars, and still have an M5. I’m ok with these cars not having an M badge and don’t think it’s worth worrying about. Besides, half the point of BMWs is the sleeper car disguise as more people will want to race you if badge up your car. My wife and I both have F10s but nobody wants to race her 550 but I get a lot more of that kind of attention in my car. Not like with my Corvette but obviously more than in her 550.

He is placing the order as soon as the tax-free status comes through from Spanish customs (Already applied yesterday. Spain takes 3 weeks or so to approve) so the car has permission to enter the country without being taxed (When it is finally built that is) I ordered the removeable window tint as well. That way if the cops stop me, I can just remove the tint from the Drivers and front passenger windows and re-apply when they are done not giving me a ticket. |

I agree with that badge color choice! I can't wait to see the pictures when you are done.

People here have to get mad about everything, you know how that is Not criticizing either way......I think the M-lite cars are amazing value for the money and the performance is still great on them. AMG tries to do the same but those models suck performance-wise.....that is legit a watering down of the AMG name. Basically, the M-lite models are close to the real M models.....the AMG-lite models are way closer to the non-AMG models. I had a GT53 and it sucked, LOL....nowhere near the GT63. That being said, I didn't want to spend the premium on a 63 because I was pretty sure Mercedes reliability was trash (and it ended up being the truth). I don't think twice about laying down the $$ for the M8 or whatever because I know I will have zero issues.

I went with the red calipers, as I thought that would make them pop a bit more. That’s a very good suggestion, my friend.

I just put the silver ones on Black Sapphire Metallic.... they look excellent and break up the "wall of dark" that the side of the car can be.

For the 4 zone climate option, apart from the added digital controls in the rear, are there any additional vents? Would the existing rear vents be enough to provide 4 zones?
The 4 zone climate pictures I have seen mostly focus on the controls. |

Does the 4-zone introduce some extra fan noise? On my F10, there is a booster fan someplace (center console?) and it is noticeable, such that when I listen to quiet music just driving on streets, I sometimes turn off the rear (there is a toggle in an I-drive menu).
