I’ve had several M cars, and still have an M5. I’m ok with these cars not having an M badge and don’t think it’s worth worrying about. Besides, half the point of BMWs is the sleeper car disguise as more people will want to race you if badge up your car. My wife and I both have F10s but nobody wants to race her 550 but I get a lot more of that kind of attention in my car. Not like with my Corvette but obviously more than in her 550.

Yeah, Me too. I already have a parts order with my guy he is putting in with the local dealer who will be delivering the car. M fender badges, M Door sills, Rubber mats for floor and trunk (With the bumper protector), Wheel locks.

He is placing the order as soon as the tax-free status comes through from Spanish customs (Already applied yesterday. Spain takes 3 weeks or so to approve) so the car has permission to enter the country without being taxed (When it is finally built that is)

I ordered the removeable window tint as well. That way if the cops stop me, I can just remove the tint from the Drivers and front passenger windows and re-apply when they are done not giving me a ticket.

Todd, I think the black ones on carbon black would look pretty cool. However....what color are your Brake calipers? If they are red, I'd go with the black. If they are blue, I'd go with the silver.

It worked on me too (see picture below). It was an easy choice for me because I have a red/black theme going on with my car.

I agree with that badge color choice! I can't wait to see the pictures when you are done.

Honestly, I just think people in other countries are normal and don't really care if someone has a M badge on a non-M car. Basically what Todd said.

People here have to get mad about everything, you know how that is

Not criticizing either way......I think the M-lite cars are amazing value for the money and the performance is still great on them. AMG tries to do the same but those models suck performance-wise.....that is legit a watering down of the AMG name. Basically, the M-lite models are close to the real M models.....the AMG-lite models are way closer to the non-AMG models. I had a GT53 and it sucked, LOL....nowhere near the GT63. That being said, I didn't want to spend the premium on a 63 because I was pretty sure Mercedes reliability was trash (and it ended up being the truth). I don't think twice about laying down the $$ for the M8 or whatever because I know I will have zero issues.

I understand, but I still would like to know the rationale from BMWNA for deleting badges that the rest of the world gets...

I went with the red calipers, as I thought that would make them pop a bit more. That’s a very good suggestion, my friend.

Totally agree. I considered a 3 series also but the 5’er won out due to the ride quality and technology. I actually like the looks of the M3 more so than the M340i. They were both up for consideration within that series. I can afford both. Then, I asked myself why I wanted the M3. Clearly both are performance oriented. One has a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds and the other 3.4. Then I asked myself if 7 tenths of a second was worth $23,700 to me (starting). This coupled with reviews of how the M3 was tiring to daily drive made it seem impractical, even with its handling envelope that, quite frankly, the vast majority of drives will rarely ever hit, unless they’re tracking it. So, I’d either wanted it for its design aesthetic or for pissing rights. In the end, the practical side of me decided on the 5’er.

Okay, after seeing your sharp pictures, I concur with you and AiredaleDad . Black Msport badges it is. I have a list of OEM things I want to get for it so I will definitely take photos 😊

I just put the silver ones on Black Sapphire Metallic.... they look excellent and break up the "wall of dark" that the side of the car can be.

So did I. I think the red looks so much better with the Oxide Grey.

For the 4 zone climate option, apart from the added digital controls in the rear, are there any additional vents? Would the existing rear vents be enough to provide 4 zones?

The 4 zone climate pictures I have seen mostly focus on the controls.

It adds a vent on the b-pillar on either side.

Note the B-Pillar vent forward of the door speaker.

Does the 4-zone introduce some extra fan noise? On my F10, there is a booster fan someplace (center console?) and it is noticeable, such that when I listen to quiet music just driving on streets, I sometimes turn off the rear (there is a toggle in an I-drive menu).
