Like I said, if you go full throttle or Xtraboost the power remains, because the car regens the power and keeps some in reserve for full power.

If you drive in Hybrid with battery depleted and don't go full throttle the car is slower as there is no "electric thrust".

I like the Bimmer 30e PHEV platform (hence I owned one).
