I think the prices in Europe include VAT right? So UK would be 20% and Ireland 23%?
The US prices exclude taxes so you could add up to 10% on top of the price but I agree it's still cheaper than Europe. Last edited by wagonallterrain; 07-20-2023 at 02:31 PM.. |

Edit…just checked the US configurator and Silverstone II Atlas Grey extended merino is available as in other countries. Except if you want luxury seating, then only black or copper.

Called my dealer they said allocations are only open for the 530 right now. I’m in the US. Is that accurate or is there something specific I need to tell them?

My dealer just got an allocation and is in the process of putting in an order today.
For those interested: I placed the pre-order on May-26th, number 97xx, i5 M60. I went for black on black color scheme (BSM) with extended shadowline trim and blue calipers. A couple things I noticed while playing with the configurator: - 19"/20"/21" wheels have progressively shorter range, at 256mi/248mi/240mi. I thought the 19" would look a little too small on this car so went with 20". - For the seats, at first I was looking at the "black M" option (veganza + alcantara), but apparently this option also replaces multi-contour seats with Sport seats. Seems to be a downgrade. |

I think probably around that early on. If you wait a year or two, I expect it'll be very low, potentially down to even ~$500/month
We're entering a phase where EV supply is starting to far outstrip demand in the US. EVs are already piling up on dealer lots and getting huge discounts, and it's about to get a lot worse if you look at the supply about to come online. Every OEM rushed in wanting to be the leader in the EV future, but collectively their production plans far exceed consumer adoption curve. We've already seen $600 - $800 leases on the EQS and Audi e-tron, all with an MSRP >$110K. i5 M60 should be below that quickly. Big dealer discounts + OEM incentives + $7500 tax credit = super cheap leases. Hoping to hop on an i5 then |

I haven’t. Getting mixed conflicting messages from the dealer about the timing of orders and allocations. I’ll check again on Monday. |

My dealer had me pick out all the options and he put it in the order bank. I don’t have an allocation number yet but it says requested production week 36.

I got my build's production number and the My BMW tracker says "Track Status: Scheduled for production 2024". I have yet confirmed with the dealer so I am a bit confused. My pre-order number is 930*.
Is everyone's scheduled week verbally communicated from dealer? |

Yesterday my dealer told me my order has been submitted and is scheduled for Week 36 September production... this is getting real!
