You all are really fantastic. I am genuinely touched by every response here.
I'm a very spiritual person and believe strongly in the power of prayer and faith. I also believe in a greater unknown plan for the greater good is being implementation during difficult times. Sometimes, to be honest, I don't want a fuckin' greater plan I just want my loved ones. I'll post more when I know more about Sara's condition. Thanks again all for showing such selfless support.

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. I hope your girlfriend is able to recover. Things like this just make me question life in general. Why do bad things happen to good people...and why do good things happen to bad people?
I can say, though, that the best way to express how you feel is by writing. Writing helps you gather all your thoughts and feelings at a difficult time and helps you to put things in to perspective. It's good to get in the habbit of writing things down...either in poetry, journal, etc., it's one of the best ways to vent when life doesn't seem to make sense anymore. Your poem was beautiful. But this is truly a heartbreaking story. As others have said, we don't know you in real life, but I hope you can take comfort in knowing you've got support here on the forum. I'll be thinking about you and your girl during this trying time. |
