I used to like them, but the company had changed in recent years unfortunately.

That sounds like a great idea - please do include me in the invite list for any Ohio get together.

Of course, I don't know which Invicta you have (they litterally make thousands of different watches and variations). Is it quartz or mechanical?

Whether or not the watch is better depends entirely on your criteria. If price is a strong factor, than no doubt you prefer your Invicta.

daytona john, you're missing something from your collection. have you seen the GMT-II with the the black bezel and green face??? they also have one with black bezel and black face but one of the hands are green??? i saw one last month and it was beautiful but the person who bought it waited a year for it. i think it was $15,000 if i remember correctly. it would go great with your collection. BTW, do you know how much a omega speedmaster is going for?? it's the michael schumacher limited edition for 2003. it has 11111 made with the big red number 1 and carbon dial.

I think you're getting mixed up with all the replies. I'm the one who has the Omega Seamaster Professional. The exact same one James Bond wears. How accurate it is?

Okay, and my brother in law asked me this today, and i figured you're the best to give me an answer. If your budget is around $1,000, what is the BEST men's watch you can buy? What would you suggest, thanks.

That's the solid gold anniversary GMT Master II. I might actually get the SS version when it comes out eventually, but the all-gold version isn't for me.

Now a solid gold Day Date Presidential....

Your Bond Seamaster is a Chronometer, just like a Rolex, and every bit as accurate.

I'd suggest your brother purchase a used Omega Seamaster which can be had for that price.

What's he want? A sport watch? A dress watch? Have a look at both Hamilton and Tissot - lot's of choices at the $1000.00 price point.

Other features: 100m water resistant thanks to patented compressor crown and pushbuttons. 72 hours power reserve, twin barrels, 41 jewels, ceramic ball bearings in rotor. Newly manufactured movement 751(just a columnwheel chrono like 90% of the Swiss made watches) with some features to let go the chronograph start & stop faster. And the white hour disk on the dial turns when chrono is engaged instead of an arrow pointing the hours normally.

I love Rolex an JLC. If I only could afford a Patek Philippe 18k gold chronograph.
