Synology. I love the Surveillance Station app for PoE cams and for backups the Synology Drive Client is set-it-and-forget-it.

How much do you have now? I run 64GB and have never been able to use it, and I do music studio with lots of plugins at 96khz, photoshop, video editing, gaming, astrophotography image integration, the latter uses the most, I hit around 45GB ram usage when processing data…. But that's it. With windows taking another 10GB, still leaves lots of room without ever swapping to SDD.

My thought is you might get more bang out of really fast 64GB and leave the other two slots open? Unless you know you would use 128GB.
Yeah I agree 128gb is probably overkill but I do use my computer for work sometimes and running building simulations in the background while programs like Revit, Excel with macros, and IES are also being used can push close to 64gigs. Ive only done that a handful of times though.

I'm mostly doing it because I can at this point. I do a lot of photography and astrophotography too, stacking photos can be taxing when running in the background, but as you've said it usually doesnt come close to 64gigs. I'd like to get more into video and 4K needs a lot of ram from what I've been reading. Has that been your experience with video?

I already did. I dropped almost $10k a few years ago to make sure my fiance could finish her degree. I went without a car for 1.5 years to pay it off and all our other stupid debts (except the mortgage, I don't make that kind of money).

So I have a new BRZ, and between the PPF and ceramic coating and all the parts, new wheels, etc, there is almost another $10k on top of the MSRP.

I took to heart the episode of Parks and Rec "Treat yo' self"

I've been eyeing a new fun car since selling my mustang earlier in the year, but prices are still too crazy for me. I would love a boxster, but low mile manuals with the options I would want are still hard to find and $$$. Been eyeing Z4MRs also but also hard to come by. There's a super low mileage miata that was reasonably priced near me that I almost purchased but dealer insisted on adding thousands extra in bs fees so I had to walk.

I've considered upgrading my iPhone SE to something newer, but don't know why.

I'm also looking to replace my 2002 GMC Sonoma with a 22 Canyon 4x4, but I can't get over the sub-optimal bed length.

I got the next Pixel 7 Pro back in October. Google gave me $450 trade-in on my current phone, another $250 credit in the Google store.

So a $900 phone effectively cost me $350. Then I noticed the sent me the wrong color and they sent me the higher memory version that is the $1100 version without charging any extra.

I have had this Oster one for years - sits on a tiny stand and always ready to go. Tried attaching a pic, but I guess I haven't made enough replies yet

Model # 4207.... About $25.00.. Website says a full charge will open about 30 bottles LOL

I rarely do (I buy enough car mods throughout the year).

But autogeek had Wolfgang uber ceramic for $16 after cyber monday sale + another coupon from a retail of $65, so I treated myself to a stocking stuffer.

That looks like a pretty good one. Thanks, I'll look into it.

BTW, an easy way to post pics is to post in the "Go Advanced" section and use the paperclip icon. You don't need a minimum of posts to attach a pic, if I remember right.

And to add to this, the shop contacted me yesterday to confirm December 20th drop off to have the coilovers (sway links, rear toe links and rear lower control arms), duckbill spoiler, catback exhaust, and new wheel tire setup installed and alignment.

Should be able to pick it up by that Friday.

Having everything done without busting a knuckle is going to be fantastic and well worth the money, since it's being done by a well known Subie specialist.
