I think I heard about one million people showed up to protest yesterday in Downtown San JOse. There was a white couple in a mustang convertible who was caught in the rally. The protestors splashed water on them so they finally gunned the car and just blasted off. Now those people are gonna hate on illegal immigrants even more. It was so stupid.

It was great here in the O.C., no traffic jams to speak of.
Loved it!
This morning it was back to clogged roads and freeways.

I'd really like to have our country back, but it's way too late.

I'm curious, CMD - I see your profile with a Mexican flag and thus assume you are Hispanic (with the assumption either you or your parents with native Mexican origins)...but I also see you are siding mainly against the protestors. I'm not implying you can't choose not to side with them but am just curious as most Hispanics (even those who are 2nd generation Americans) side with these protestors just because they share a same Mexican link.

this was on another forum, but a lot of hispanics including Mexicans felt that illegal immigration was a problem and since they were legal immigrants, this had little to do with them.

Squawks, I'm glad someone finally noticed and asked! I'm a native California white man and I'm being sarcastic. Hell, the Mexican flag is way more popular in Southern California than the American flag, haven't you noticed the same?

Checked with my brother in law yesterday (owns 3 hotels, 100% spanish cleaning crews). Everyone came.

Lol. Guess the threat to get fired worked.

I can sympathize with them rallying, but not to strongarm their employers. That's messed up, disrespectful, and unloyal.
