Aside from those observation, there it is not an ease making lane changes especially a left lane change given that the headress interferes with the limited view I have to see out of the side window in the back. The color I choice is not a color you can just call a nice color. I have to basically force myself to like it and now am inclined to say that the color varies from time to time. I know that there will be problems with this car given that there is some much technology in the car. Also, there may be a fuel pump problem in the near future. Lastly, I do not like getting attention in cars, not the least bit and I think that this car is an attention getter and would much rather prefer the understated, yet nice sedan in black because it fits my personality much more than a coupe.

For now, that is all I can say. Some people might want to rip me for replying to this thread but those are my ideas.
1) Swap out the RFTs. No more bumps. If you still think it's bumpy then you might want a Lexus or Toyota.
2) Sparkling graphite, aka dark silver, is a conservative color that doesn't really attract much attention. Do you really get that much attention still? I see e92s everywhere. Get tints if you don't like people looking in your car.
3) You can't just assume you're gonna get a fuel pump failure.
4) Use the mirrors.

You can cure the lane changing issues by adjusting your mirrors. The best saying I've heard is "Your side mirrors don't need to show the side of your car. Don't worry, you won't leave it behind, it will follow you wherever you go."

Try this, Lean all the way so your head is against the driver side window. Move the driver side mirror out until you can see just a sliver of the side of your car. Now position your head in the very middle of your car and move the passenger mirror out the same way. With your mirrors set up like this you will see all the cars behind you in the rear view mirror. Just as one is coming up on the right and gets out of view of the rear mirror it will come into view in your passenger side mirror. As soon as it gets out of view on that you will be able to see it next to you. Same for the driver side. Works great for me. Took my a while to get used to not seeing the side of my car, but now I can't drive a car without moving the mirrors this way.

I love Benz and BMW seems i like the Benz interiors and the BMW shapes, I have not fell in love with the 300 or 350 looks too (not benz) for me! prefer a c230 shape more.

I'm surprised that the OP actually received legitimate responses that are genuinely intended to help. I think that's a testament to the good nature of this forum!

I, however, can't resist.

Oh no, not another one of these....I spent money on a car, and now I want to throw more money away because I was being dumb when I bought it. Give me a break. You people buy cars like they're f**king toys....and then get bored, and expect us to give you a solution for trading it in. -_-

OP, just sell the Lease, and get a benz, you'll be happier with a more "cushioned" ride, and I don't think you need the speed either...so yeah, do that. Not meaning to sound like an ass, but assess your situation and put yourself in other people's shoes, and try to look at yourself. You'll see that it was a mistake to make this thread. You should have just gone to the benz dealership.

OP,

I've looked at the new C class and was not impressed. The interior feels even cheaper than the 3 to me and I think just about everyone will agree it is not as good to drive but, judging from your previous posts the way it drives probably isn't much of an issue. The good thing is you are just in a lease. You can either suck it up and deal with it for your lease term or you could put it on lease trader or something if you really hate it.
Let this guy go and learn the hardway. Let him buy an MB. He will be crying his witts begging to comeback. Go. there is a sucker born everyday.

I know I should have test driven the mercedes c350. Have any of you had the oppurtunity? Is it a better ride, more comfortable, can it come close to steering and handling like a BMW? How are the seats and speed. DAMN i made a huge mistake and have been beating my mind senseless for 3 weeks. that seems outrageous but i dont give a damn. lots of money went into this car dammnnnnnnnnnnn.
I own both. BMW is superior in almost every way.
Better ride = BMW. Mercedes feels vague. BMW is firmer but I prefer that.
Mercedes has squishier seats, less support and are more uncomfortable over distances. I drive 1k miles a week.
Steering and handling? Please. Not even close.
Speed = nonexistant. We drove the 300 and 350 when buying. Couldn't tell the difference in speed. Not that much HP difference for 5K in price. Waste of money. A 328 is faster than a 350. Heck, my Armada will give it a run.

If you want a car that is different, but has comfortable seats and comparable handling and speed, you should look at a G35. Had one of those also. As for blind spots, try driving a '92 vette convertable. I have a vert 3 series and have no problems with blind spots.
If you want a softer ride, get rid of the run flats. They cause most of the harshness. Go with Michelin PS2 or similar and your ride will soften dramatically. As for attention, same amount in either vehicle, maybe more in the Mercedes because it is a more new body style.

The Mercedes is in our driveway because she thinks its cute. That's about the only reason its there. And cute is subjective. I hate the rear end on it but it ain't mine.

I'm hoping now that the ride won't get harsher. Right now, its okay for me but from I have read the run-flats over time make for a really harsh ride. I have also read this in Bimmer Magazine.

I don't know how I would be able to sell the lease. Would I have to take a big financial loss. Yeah, I knew I would catch heat for making this post, but I'm a big boy.

So get rid of the run flats. I am. Get AAA, a can of green slime, and enjoy the ride. I haven't had a flat in 300k+ miles and I'm really not worried about one now.

I think the c350 is prolly the best looking car in its class. Its the newest design and it shows. It is miles ahead of the old C class. I wanted to love that car, and frankly, I wanted to NOT love the E90 (which, frankly, is a little small and wimpy looking for me). Couldn't be done. I had better looking plastic in my '99 Passat, the seats sucked and it is friggin BORING .......B.O.R.I.N.G ......to drive. It might be perfect for you.

The only C-class I would even consider is a C63. That'll wake you up.

I gave you my honest opinion cause you said you knew you'd catch flack and that you're a big boy and could take it. You also have some valid reasons why style wise this car might not be for you (altho saying that you wanna keep a low profile by drive a black Benz is a little dubious).

My advice to you is..........next time don't let the chick your bangin talk you into leasing her a car unless you're prepared to drive it when the punanny closes up shop.
If you wanna troll for trim by offering her a car, thats cool. Just make sure its something you wanna drive too.

It's just buyers remorse. It frequently happens when you make a large commitment and then have second thoughts leading you to obsess over the negative issues. My wife got over it, and you can too.

I know everyone here obviously loves BMWs, but the way the C class looks is impressive, you have to look at it objectively. Oh, and the Audi A5 in white is really sweet.

I like how op asks the question and expect all of us to dig up information for him. Maybe the reason why he made the initial mistake. We are not him, we give opinion that are obviously biased with our personal preference which can be in direct conflict with his.
