OSU vs Oregon game going to be interesting next week. OSU definitely doesn't look as strong as normal, they lost a lot of players to draft. Their running back is huge though.

Just give it time. Rough first half with a 19 year old kid starting his first ever college game. I believe it was the right call. He led with his shoulder and grazed with the side of his helmet. If he led with the crown then yes...def targeting.

Or we can go on and on about the consistent non holding calls from the Minnesota's o-line? I saw countless times their o-line grabbing the OSU d-lineman jerseys and pulling them to the ground..

If you want to talk a cheap call...what about that so called roughing the passer penalty in the first half when the Minnesota QB threw that pick? OSU player hit him in the chest making a football play with his hands up trying to hit the ball.

OSU offense is for real. Defense...that is another story..

The Oregon game will be huge...hope the D Coordinator can make some adjustments and get a few of the starters back that didn't play last night.

C’mon he led with his helmet and you could see clear helmet to helmet contact from at least one angle. Would be automatic targeting against some other teams.

The frustration many fans have isn’t necessarily with that non-call but with the fact their teams have been flagged for targeting for similar or less obvious hits. Targeting is not called on anything close to a consistent basis across CFB so enforcement should either be fixed to be more consistent or the penalty should be eliminated. It’s too much of a game changer penalty to not get right on a consistent basis.

I think a little of both. UNC lost a lot off that offense from last year so I do think they were overrated. They got a lot of hype based on the game against us last year when our defense had sudden memory loss on defending against the run. VT is probably better than anyone thought and game was in Blacksburg.

RickFLM4 how are you guys feeling against Bama? Watching the game with my dad (he grew up a Canes fan, season tickets for 11 years when it was called Joe Robbie Stadium) and will be rooting for them Canes.

Will be happy to look respectable. We are improving but nowhere near elite. I guess stranger things have happened and catching them first game may be best time, but don't see a win happening. Having king back is big and same for Donaldson. Our defense is worrisome but Blake baker is gone so that's a plus.

I bought some extra gin which will be good for any outcome.

What about FSU vs ND?

FSU should be much more improved than last year with Norvell having another year implementing his schemes and changing the toxic culture. We are a young team (but look hungry) and hope on getting lucky first game of the season at home against a ND team that had lots of turnover to the NFL.

Don't expect on winning this game but do hope for an upset against one of the better ranked teams we face this year similar to the UNC situation last year.

I want to see improvement, mental toughness and fight til the game is done. None of this BS I've witnessed the past 4 years or so of quitting when down by 14+ points in the 2nd quarter.

If we go .500 this year I'll be content. If we win 7 that'll be a good season (sadly). I'm in Tally for the game tomorrow and hope we get lucky! Go Noles!

I’m a little nervous about UGA’s game against Clemson tonight, JT Daniels should look comfortable after an offseason in the program but DJ is ready to step up as Clemson’s QB. It should be a great game tonight in Charlotte.

What a game yesterday. Place was electric. Still lots of false starts and bad snaps that came back and haunted us. A couple very questionable defensive plays calls (wtf moments) from our defensive coordinator like full out blitzing on 3rd and 17 which led to huge chunk plays and TD's.

Still lots of cleanup to do. Sad we lost in OT but there are bright spots on the team where they are playing with heart and mental toughness now. McKenzie Milton is an x-factor for us and they must play him more. Go Noles!

Didn’t get to see the whole game but obviously it went a lot better than our game. Milton is a much better passer than the other guy but he needs protection.

Disaster of an ending for my Noles week 2. Big let down overall. ND overrated which in turn made FSU look worthy for a short time.

So far the college football season has had a lot of close calls and early upsets with ranked schools but it doesn't justify my Noles keeping it close and losing to an FCS team last play of the game.

Welp...looks like the Vols will suck again this year. Had a decent lead vs. Pitt and lost it all. They're the reason I still drink...

For a brief interval it looked as if PAc-12 might occupy 3 spots in the top 10. Then Stanford

Well, this was the fastest our season became a disaster as I can remember in recent history. ACC play starts tomorrow so hopefully the young QBs and young guys on defense can salvage what’s left of the season. The ACC coastal really sucks this year more than usual so maybe we can have a decent showing the rest of the way.

I'm a little nervous about the Bulldogs hosting the Razorbacks this weekend, it should be a great game. BTW, how about the meltdown from the OSU LB last weekend?

I heard about it but haven’t seen it. Not the first and won’t be the last though. Everyone seems pissed about something nowadays, especially youngsters.

I'm looking forward to this weeks rankings, Georgia should be #1 after A&M beat Alabama last night. Now if Georgia could get Daniels healthy or do they stick with Bennett at QB?

Syracuse finally spanking the other team. Sean Tucker is a force. NFL scouts must be salivating over him
