greatest success was getting a degree just barely - I think now looking back if I hadn't it would bother me terribly.

there are a lot of things I regret, things I'd said to people, the way I acted toward people. My greatest regret tho.. wish I had spent more time with my parents and my aunt, associated with a bunch of dopey friends and should have spent that time with family.

Successes: 3 college degrees, 1 wife (still have her/she still has me), 2 kids, started and grew career, bought first house, bought first new vehicle financed at 11% interest rate, started international/global travel.

Regrets: none, I don't believe in them really.

Mistakes? Yes. Regrets? No. I view regrets as mistakes a person hasn't forgiven themself for, yet.

Biggest success was after getting nowhere, joining the US navy nuclear program at 23. Led to everything good in my life today (46 now).

Biggest regret was not investing immediately for retirement. I didn't really start until mid 30s and have been playing catch up ever since. However, I'm fortunate enough to have a job that affords me the ability to not only catch up, but exceed averages for my age group. Thanks again, to the Navy.

ETA after reading the post above mine, yeah, I agree, it's more a mistake than a regret.

I do have a life long regret that I'm still living.

Regret: Drinking caused me to take a few years off from college and I missed out on a very high paying shipping job if I had graduated when I should have and not 3 years later...

Success: Married my wife 2 years after graduating college and we have been through ups and downs but celebrating 13 years this Aug.

Greatest success in my 20's - Youngest inductee into a 4 year management training program for the company I worked for. Started at the bottom and worked my way up over 2 years. I was 20 and running the place.

Biggest regret - Marrying the boys mother. I should have had children with another woman. I paid financially for years, my boys will pay for the rest of their lives.

Success was graduating dental school. Regret going to dental school as I hate the profession now after almost 30 years.

I got a really good high paying job(for someone in their 20's) at an exotic car dealership and blew most of it drinking and buying shit. I wasnt an alcoholic, it was more about the social aspect and showing off. Id pull up to the bar in some expensive car, buy a shit load of drinks for people that didnt care about me, and then my dumb ass would drive home wasted. I eventually lost the job, because I was late and hung over all the time. I regret it a lot and I am lucky I never killed anyone or got a DUI.

The silver lining, is that losing the job lead me to move in with my parents in Georgia. Now I have an amazing wife, two little kids, and a great house, not to mention a sweet collection of cars.

its always a success if you do something crazy like that and make it home safe with not crashing and getting pulled over. Im very blessed cuz in highschool me and my freinds would drive so much mountain roads and canyons high. We would get to the top of it and smoke so much and drink then drive down super fast. Nothing ever happened like ever. The E90 at the time only had m3 control arms and the budget Hankook evo 2 tires. I always Dsc and dtc off.

I don't wear my work clothes outside of my office. The disgusting crap that gets on my scrub shirt and pants I don't want in my car. But yeah, I do wear surgical loupes when I work. Kind of useless to wear them anywhere else though.
