Nice link - their products are sweet!

Like you said, value is dependent highly on the cost of land. Maybe land is at a premium in Australia (I assume not, but having never been, who am I to say). In the US outside of places like NYC, Metro Chicago, and SF, it's usually cheaper to build 3-5 garages in a row.

Yeah, I do, as I was posting that I was like, "I'm not using this word right, but I'm too lazy to fix it." - Sorry about that, but I figured it was pretty obvious what my point was.

Thanks for the link, that is too sick, but you've gotta have money to do that.

That's exactly what I wanted to do 8 years ago- someone stole my idea!!

I've always wondered if anyone's actually tried that. Now I know. VERY COOL!

Nope - there is a sump at the bottom. It either drains directly to stormwater or via a pump.

But the question does make me remember that 50's vintage car some US city buried as a time capsule and bought back up a year or two ago. I think Boyd Coddington was supposed to get it going again but when they opened it up the thing was completely stuffed due to the pit filling up. Wonder what happened to that - anyone know?
