Mind you those that just poodle along in such a road car wouldn't reach that point.
Except for the fact that VER has done this before in the race as well as these circumstances.

well probably i ll be called a hater but i dont think Vettel should be on top especially considering his last 2 seasons.. all drivers did have bad season(s) but Vettel's were another level.. next year we ll see a new Vettel probably..

but who is TRU MK? Trulli?
MON is Montoya i guess, and what about STE?

TRU - Jarno Truli...Blistering over one lap but the term Trulli Train was coined for him. Extremely fast pole position but backed up the field during the race.

MON - JP Montoya

STE - Jackie Stewart

The Ferrari was like a London bus so it's hardly surprising and you heard him say on radio the hard truth ''ok the car is undriveable'',a few times he was denied tyre change he wanted when he requested which from a drivers perspective would increase his pace.

Positive my friend.
MAX felt and they saw that he had gearbox issues , mostly in 8th gear . The only way to fix it was a re-synchronisation of his gearbox .
As for the RB16 gearbox re-synchronisation , he had to push it flat-out !
Which means you have to be flat-out to get that synchronisation !!!
The execution of the re-synchronisation procedure on a wet track with cold tyres in 8th gear was not without risks ..

That's why MAX crashed into the barriers in T12 => https://autos.yahoo.com/horner-revea...141756824.html

All the comments from above are silly and conscienceless as usual ..

People just don't realise that driving an F1 car is nothing like a road car.The re-synchronisation process is just one of many things that the drivers have to overcome and better before the start of the race where the risk would be monumental.

thank you MK..
Trulli had pretty good sessions but when it needed i remember times he couldnt do anything.. thats why made me think a bit hyped in that way.. and yes on Sundays wasnt getting better most of the time..

then mine d look like this.. from late 80's except Niki and Jackie..

Exceptional: Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton, Hakkinen, J.Stewart, Lauda..

Pretty damn good: Russel, Alonso, Mansell, Leclerc, M.Verstappen (his mature version), Vettel & D.Hill (somewhere between), Bottas..

I like the Hakkinen addition to exceptional.

I will give pushback on the VER with pretty damn good without adding RIC. I'd say they are both in the 3rd tier. Mansell I agree with but not ALO. He never had blistering one lap speed. Hamilton outqualified him 6-2 in their time at McLaren and HAM was a rookie.

Cheers, my friend!

VER "flushed it out" indeed....he CRASHED THE RB RACER INTO THE ARMCO GUARDRAIL WHILE DRIVING FROM THE PADDOCK TO THE GRID BEFORE THE RACE.

And it seems a racing miracle that the remaining nineteen (19) F1 pilots managed to pilot their racers to the grid without....crashing into a guardrail.

It wasn't gearbox issues that locked up his front wheels and caused him to understeer into the barrier.
He simply ran out of talent.

Actually it’s all 4 wheels he locked up. It’s really hard to steer when you don’t let your wheels rotate.

The 8th gear synchronizing issue on the reconnaissance lap did not "cause" VER to lose control of the RB racer, VER "caused" the loss of control of his racer.

Let us know how it works out when you run a red light and you inform the police that it wasn't your fault....it was the red light's fault.
