From what I have read, Stoffel had been schedule to be in Bahrain this weekend anyway after he wrapped up his Formula E testing in Spain.

Something to remember is that Stoffel and Esteban Gutierreze are the official reserve drivers for Racing Point. Despite that, Hulk was chosen to replace Perez and Stroll when they were ruled out of racing earlier this season. I know that in Silverstone Stoffel was unavailable due to other commitments but I dont recall that being the case at the Nurburgring when Hulk subbed in for Stroll. Point being, contracts in F1 dont seem to be more of a guideline

I’m sure many share my sentiments, even the inverse of the two you mentioned who hang on Ham’s nuts. Yes, I see many as the opposite side to the same coin.

Let’s say this, one most will agree on, Russell will do quite well given a proper chassis. The fw43 is garbage and even Lando predicted Russell will go 1&1. I think it was said in jest but let’s just say he shouldn’t be back of midfield or back of pack. With a week in between races...

Not so much about driver placement as I haven't given that much thought, to be fair, more about current state of drivers, placement, chassis etc.

I will be more than happy to begin speculating about driver placement next year though

I'm picking up what you are laying down. As far a Lando goes, it will be McLaren-Mercedes next year. The order of the universe will be restored and I will be cheering for Lando and HAM to mix it up!!

I don't remember off the top of my head. Is it the 2021 regs that say the works teams have to share their fuel mixtures as well? If so, that'll really make it interesting!
