i wouldn't get used personally. not for my mom at least. I want a car with a good solid warranty on it. i'd second the accord/civic suggestions. or maybe some base acura. What about going *grasp* American? They seem to be better deals.
How much are Toyota Prius'? I've always liked the hybrid idea esp. now with rising fuels costs... Prius' are getting pretty popular here in houston, and i heard they are roomy for their size. |

hybrids don't save money
I think it was motortrend that did a test on if they paid off, the honda civic vs it's hybrid counterparts took 100,000 miles for the hybrid savings to pay for the initial difference in cost. if you want to see a usefull hybrid, look into BMW's "steamer" efficient dynmics car if anyone in my family buys a conventional hybrid I am disowning them |

I think they're in the low-high 20's depending on options 22-27 grand or so
the things come with a plastic replaceable ring on the wheels so when you scuff them on the curb you just replace the ring (plastic and cheap) rather than the wheel |

I want her to get the Mini S, that thing is so freaking cute. Like i said, i was almost considering swapping my e90 for it, but... nah... haha.
Ill take her out and test drive em, and she can see what she thinks. When is the best time of hte year to purchase a new car? When the 07 models come out? So like september/august.. I dont like the prius, they look like a rollie pollie bug.

You can order a Mini with a Union Jack on the roof: EXCELLENT(my choice)in black metallic. Or opt for the Ferce Tricolore*(or whatever the Italian flag is called )
Great car. Tell your mamamia she won't regret it. It's very good on country roads as well! *is every roofcolour possible? |

Bella!
What are you thinking??? Man...tell her to wait abit. When you leave for the East Coast...have her take over your 325i and payments, and you take the mustang...that way, you can beat it up, get rust on it, etc. and not worry about paying for a car while you are there. It cannot be that bad...its a 2000 right?? I would work this angle out a bit and figure out the $$ exchange factor!!! Then...when you are ready...YOU get rid of the mustang and get the new 335i or whatever is out at the time...with XENONS! That is what I would do.
