These polesmokers need to have their cars PERMANENTLY impounded and sold off, and their licenses revoked, not just suspended. There are horrible stories in the news almost daily about innocent people being killed or maimed by idiot street racers like these JAMFs. The law needs to come down hard and send a message to the rest of their ilk. Some of the details in this article are particularly apalling. Good job by the fuzz on this one!

The drivers told police they were returning from a night of drag racing on Route 231, Deer Park Avenue, police said. Suffolk police did not return a call regarding the drag racing yesterday. --lol, they told the officer the truth that they were returning from a drag racing. sweet. Honesty is the best policy. lol.

Three of the cars had windshield stickers that read "Place Ticket Here," with an arrow pointing to a spot under the windshield wipers, police said.--sounds like something from a cartoon, gimme tkt and yes please place here.

these guys don't really sound like the smartest kid on the block (considering they are from NYC.

I must agree at least the car did not look like crap. for an 01 it was hooked up nice.

By far the worst of all was when I was pulled over one night on DPA when I was driving home late at night, and I was pulled over by an officer who told me "you were driving a little slow back there." Yes, I was pulled over for driving too slow. Unreal.
HOW SLOW WERE YOU DRIVING!?

Yeah, well what about drunk driving and everything else? There are WAY MORE accidents involving drunk driving (or driving under some other influence), let alone all the accidents caused by shitty drivers who don't pay attention, or just make dumb mistakes.

What these guys did was wrong, but speeding a little when there's nobody around isn't nearly as bad as drunk driving. Yet, if any of them got busted for a DUI or anything they'd get off with a fine, and keep their car. The law makes no sense.

The lower left one has a face not even a mother could love, and his haircut is reminiscent of Moe from the Three Stooges. The lesson to be learned here is simple... You can be stupid, dangerous, irresponsible, and a law breaker, but don't expect to get away with if you're ugly.

Congratulations, that has to be one of THE most brain-dead posts EVER on this forum. What a mental midget. If you think this was "speeding a little", you're a complete moron.

Yes, DUI is a huge problem, but completely off-topic here. Has nothing to do with my rant about these idiots. Get a clue.

Pack of losers... they got what was coming to them. Its good they got stopped here because the trend that they were following was dangerous... they would have eventually killed themselves or other innocent people...
