I'm going to guess Corn Snake, too. Damage could be from being run over by a car, which is probably what killed it.

it was in my garage when I noticed it and it then fled to an electric box which I wrapped with a towel and found it dead the next day lol. So was this SOB venomous?

No not even close to being venomous, hell it wouldn't most likely even bite you. I use to have Corn snakes as pets when I was little. I had one bite me(oddly enough out of 20 or so that I handled) and that felt like a pinch, nothing more.

The first few pictures make it look like the area on the stomach is a dark spot, possibly signifying electrocution inside the electric box? Fried snake!

The snake is actually a young Texas rat snake. They resemble corn snakes, prairie kings and gophers.

They are Non-Venomous.
