911 is big these days, given the choice as a toy car I would probably prefer Cayman/Boxster

True, like what seems std for most RS models

Not sure if you've actually seen a GT4 in person...but, this at least has some hope of being faster than my car!

GT4 is great but nothing sounds like a GT3 at 9k rpm. That last 1000 is 🤤🤤🤤

Depends on the exhaust and is easily modified/fixed with the exhaust.

The GT3's engine is what's superior to me, specifically the Nikasil plated cylinder sleeves. They aren't susceptible to bore scoring and subsequent engine failure. Even the mighty (and expensive) 981 GT4 doesn't incorporate this process and at least one car, according to my indy tech who's in the know, is going to need a new engine. I'm not sure if the 718 GT4 uses Nikasil but given the cost and messy process involved, I doubt it.

Well that's better than your GT3 burning to the ground.

They aren't cheap, but what can you get for that money that comes close? These things are in Supercar performance territory for half the price.

no doubt, given the $$ differential they are almost impossible to beat. As for the new GT4 I hope Sally Fields gets royalties, for that rear wing reminds me of the 'Flying Nun', uglier than sin for the street but understood on the track

Oh wow, they actually did it, they put the GT3 engine in the Cayman. Does this mean the Cayman complex will finally be dead? This is gonna be one incredible machine!
