well actually the ratios that creates the downforce is like this almost.. most of the downforce is being created by the floor.. and one way or another bursting air out to disrupt the follower car is inevitable still with this setup.. maybe Murray's banned fan car can be the solution.. each car sucks itself to the ground..

If you have to run on tracks like Monaco then it seems like running cars that can actually race on that type of track is a must. The current cars are so large that they make it virtually impossible to pass and therefore impossible to race. Also, rather than re-fueling and mandatory pits stops, how about no pit stops. Every team starts the race with enough fuel and a set of tires that will last the entire race. To me it should be about the car and driver and not about who is more efficient in the pits.

And 2 pit stops mandatory, but any tire you want to run

We want them light on fuel weight and on the fastest tires for as much of the race as possible. Save the long life tires for people that use All Seasons and complain when they have to get new ones...

I'll add my two thoughts. I started watching F1 in 1999.

1. the FIA has F1 confused with endurance racing. F1 is a sprint race. The regulations should reflect that.

2. F1 should be an automotive freak show. When I watch an F1 race, I want to see cars (and drivetrains) doing things that defy all logic and reason. Hybrid V6s just don't invoke that at all.

There will always be good teams and bad teams I would just like to see a budget cap so everyone is on a level playing field. Also, in a perfect world I would like to see drivers selected based on talent and not what sponsors they could bring in.
